In the first half of 2012 we delivered our exciting Climate Challenge program to the Illawarra region. Congratulations to over 300 Illawarra households that participated!

About the Community Climate Challenge program

The NCC developed the Community Climate Challenge in 2006 to inspire household and community action, facilitate ongoing behaviour change and promote more sustainable communities.

The Community Climate Challenge program has been implemented in a range of regions and councils, including the Clarence, Central Coast, Mosman, North Sydney, Warringah, Parramatta and Frankston City and the Hunter Valley. Each community has seen real reductions in household greenhouse gas emissions and facilitated great sustainability initiatives!
